Raised on the Connecticut coastline, Briahna began painting wall murals by age 16, both commercially and residentially. At the University of Connecticut, she earned a Bachelors Degree in History and Studio Art. Working in fashion in New York City, she attended four semesters at the Isabel O'Neil Finishing Art Studio.
In 2014, Briahna picked up and moved to Folly Beach, SC, to seek a more tranquil lifestyle and pursue her art career. The Charleston area has proved very receptive to Briahna’s work, and her pieces can be found in local restaurants, coffee shops, and farmer’s markets.
Her work crosses many genres and themes, from uniquely focused realism to vibrant and chaotic motion, expressing her ever present fascination with experimentation. The latest trend in her work involves collecting discarded wood, refinishing it, and building sturdy wood canvases for vibrant acrylic paintings. Extensive travels including Maui, Guatemala, and Europe, continue to expand her vision and inspire her pieces.
